Event Planning & Production FAQ

About Lundstrom Event

What types of events and productions does Lundstrom Event specialise in?

Lundstrom Event is a full-service event agency and production company based in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Since 2004, we've been creating and producing corporate events, conferences, kick-offs, galas, product launches and brand experiences.

From creative concepts and event design to technical production, scenography and on-site execution, we bring ideas to life through a combination of creative thinking and hands-on production expertise.

What is the difference between an event agency and an event production company?

An event agency typically focuses on creative concepts, strategy and event planning, while an event production company handles the technical and practical execution.

At Lundstrom Event, we combine both. From developing the initial idea and designing the experience to managing logistics, technical production, scenography and on-site delivery, we bring the entire process together under one roof.

This means our clients can work with one partner throughout the project, from the first conversation to the final execution.

Does Lundstrom Event work throughout Sweden and internationally?

Yes! We are based in Gothenburg, Sweden, but our productions take us well beyond our hometown.

We work with clients across Sweden and also take on international assignments, managing everything from creative concepts and planning to production and on-site execution.

Wherever the project takes us, we bring the same hands-on approach and production expertise.

Planning & Production

How much does it cost to organise a corporate event in Sweden?

The cost of organising a corporate event in Sweden depends on several factors, including the number of guests, venue, location, technical requirements, catering and overall production complexity.

At Lundstrom Event, we work with different budgets and tailor each production to the client's objectives and priorities. Whether it's a smaller corporate gathering or a large-scale conference, we focus on making the most of the available resources.

The best starting point is a conversation about your goals, expectations and budget. From there, we can recommend an approach that balances creativity, quality and cost.

Are corporate events worth the investment?

The question isn't always what an event costs, but what it might cost your business not to bring people together.

Corporate events can strengthen company culture, build relationships, engage employees and create opportunities that go far beyond the event itself.

At Lundstrom Event, we believe every event should have a clear purpose. And if you're not quite sure what that purpose is yet, we'll help you define it. Together, we identify your goals and create an experience designed to achieve them.

How do I choose the right event agency for my company?

Start by looking at what the agency has actually produced. Do they understand your business? Can they challenge your thinking? And do they have the experience and resources to deliver on their ideas?

At Lundstrom Event, we've been planning and producing events since 2004. With our own production team and workshop, we combine creative thinking with hands-on expertise. We like getting involved early, asking questions and finding solutions that make sense for each client.

We want our clients to feel that they're in good hands. That they can be ambitious, ask questions, change their minds and trust that we'll find a way forward together. We take our work seriously, but we also believe the process should be enjoyable. After all, we're creating something people are meant to look forward to.

How far in advance should you plan a corporate event?

Ideally, the earlier the better. Larger conferences, galas and corporate events often benefit from several months of planning, especially when venues, entertainment and technical production are involved.

But not every event comes with a long lead time. At Lundstrom Event, we're used to working with tight deadlines and finding solutions when time is limited.

Whether you're planning something for next year or need to make something happen in just a few weeks, get in touch. We'll help you assess what's possible and where to start.

Creative & Technical Production

What is brand activation, and how can it benefit my business?

Brand activation is about bringing a brand to life through experiences that people can interact with, participate in and remember.

It can take many forms, from product launches and pop-up experiences to in-store activations and creative campaigns.

At Lundstrom Event, we create brand experiences that give people a reason to engage with your brand beyond traditional advertising. We help you find the right idea, shape the experience and bring it to life, with your audience and objectives at the centre.

What does full-service event production actually include?

Full-service event production means having one partner who takes responsibility for the entire process, from the first idea to the final execution.

At Lundstrom Event, that can include concept development, event design, project management, scenography, technical production, sound, lighting, content production and on-site coordination. With our own production team and workshop, we're able to develop and build much of what we create ourselves.

For our clients, it means less time coordinating different suppliers and more room to focus on what the event is actually meant to achieve. And when plans change (because they sometimes do), there's a team that knows the whole project and can act quickly.

Can Lundstrom Event help with presentations, speaker coaching and stage content?

Absolutely. What happens on stage is just as important as everything happening around it.

At Lundstrom Event, we help shape presentations, develop storytelling, prepare speakers and plan the overall show flow. Whether it's a leadership conference, company kick-off or product launch, we make sure the content gets the attention it deserves.

We work closely with your speakers to understand what they want to communicate and how they feel most comfortable presenting it. That might mean redesigning a presentation, refining a message or rehearsing together so they can step on stage with confidence and deliver it with impact.

Can you provide photography, video and content production for corporate events?

Yes, gladly! At Lundstrom Event, photography, video and content production can (and if you ask us, should) be part of the event from the very beginning, rather than something added at the last minute.

We create everything from event photography and highlight films to social media content, interviews and other video productions.

By planning content alongside the event itself, we can capture the right moments and create material that continues to work for your brand long after the guests have gone home.

And if you already have your own content team, we're happy to work alongside them.

What does custom event design and scenography involve?

Custom event design can include everything from stage sets and branded installations to furniture, décor and complete event environments, all designed around a specific space, audience and purpose.

At Lundstrom Event, we handle both the creative design and practical production. With our own workshop and production team, we can develop drawings, build custom elements, adapt existing materials and manage installation on-site.

This gives us greater control over the details, budget and final result. It also means we're able to find practical solutions early, rather than discovering limitations when it's time to build.

Sustainability

What is Lundstrom Event's approach to sustainable event production?

Sustainability is something we consider throughout the production process, from the first idea to what happens after the event.

At Lundstrom Event, we focus on making better use of the resources we already have. Our in-house workshop allows us to repair, rebuild and repurpose materials, while our storage facilities make it possible to save event elements for future productions.

We also look at transport, material choices and waste reduction when planning each project.

We don't claim to have all the answers, but we're committed to making more responsible decisions wherever we can.

Why does in-house production matter for sustainability?

Having our own workshop gives us greater control over how things are made, what materials we use and where they come from.

Our in-house workshop design, build and adapt scenography, installations and event environments with good intention. We can give existing materials a new purpose, make adjustments on-site and avoid unnecessary transportation of large, ready-made constructions from distant suppliers.

It also allows us to make more considered decisions throughout the process, balancing creative ambitions with practical solutions, costs and environmental impact.

How can you make a corporate event more sustainable without compromising the experience?

It starts with asking the right questions. Does everyone need to travel? Could the venue be more accessible by public transport? How can we reduce food waste without compromising the catering experience?

We help clients consider these decisions early in the planning process. We look at the event as a whole, identifying where changes can make a meaningful difference while keeping the purpose, budget and guest experience in focus.

The aim isn't to do less, but to make better choices about where and how we invest our resources.

Working with us

Do I need a clear event concept or brief before contacting Lundstrom Event?

Not at all. Some clients come to us with a detailed brief, while others simply know they want to bring people together but aren't quite sure how.

We enjoy getting involved early, asking questions and getting to know your business before deciding what the event should look like. Together, we'll figure out what you want to achieve and how to get there.

You don't need to have all the answers before getting in touch. That's part of what we're here for.

What happens when you start working with Lundstrom Event?

It usually starts with a conversation. We want to understand your business, your ambitions and what you're hoping to achieve.

From there, we put together a proposal based on your needs and budget. Once we're working together, our team takes care of the planning, creative development and production, keeping you involved in the decisions that matter.

We believe in close collaboration, honest conversations and making the process something you actually enjoy being part of!

Can Lundstrom Event help with just one part of an event?

Of course. Not every project needs a full-service event agency.

Sometimes you might need a complete event production. Other times, it's a stage design, technical production, photography, video content or an extra pair of experienced hands. Depending on your needs, we also recommend having a look at our sister company www.sparkxperience.se

We're happy to take responsibility for an entire project or work alongside your existing team and suppliers.
